DENT is proud to be an Open Source Partner of the OCP EMEA Summit 2025, taking place April 29–30 in Dublin, Ireland. This premier event brings together global infrastructure leaders to explore solutions for data center sustainability, energy efficiency, and heat reuse across the region. With a focus on applying hyperscale innovation to real-world challenges, this year’s themes include AI, security, power and cooling, and EMEA-based deployments.
As part of the Linux Foundation’s presence, DENT will host a booth featuring technical discussions with our member community. This includes work on Yocto migration aimed at creating a shared BSP layer for network device builds, support for the IEEE 802.1x protocol for secure network access, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) enablement contributions.
The OCP EMEA Summit also features the Future Technologies Symposium, showcasing research and innovations expected to shape infrastructure five or more years into the future. Attendees can explore the latest advancements in the Expo Hall and experience live demos in the Innovation Village.
DENT provides a lightweight, fully open source NOS built on the Linux kernel and Switchdev. It runs on resource-constrained hardware, supports zero-touch provisioning, remote management, and auto-upgrades, and uses familiar Linux tools — making it a ready-to-deploy solution for retail edge networking.
Visit the DENT booth in the Open Source area to see how we’re enabling flexible, disaggregated networks at the edge.
